About the event
You are invited to visit the Crane Mountain Landfill. They believe that everyone should understand how their waste is handled, and how they maintain their commitment to the environment, and the importance of waste diversion.
Each year approximately 2,500 people visit the Glenn Carpenter Interpretive Centre, located on-site at the landfill. Videos, a scale model, as well as other innovative displays, can be found inside the Interpretive Centre. They provide programs to classes from kindergarten to university, and to groups from youth camps to seniors.
