About the event
Registrants of the 2024 Technical Summit are invited to attend. This will be the first Geocycle pre-processing facility in Canada. The facility will produce cement kiln main burner fuel for the Lafarge Canada cement plant in Brookfield Nova Scotia. The site will be looking at plastic material initially but will expand this to other landfill designated materials in the future.
Remember that this is an operating industrial site and there are a lot of moving parts that are not strictly associated with the shredding operation. Full PPE will be required: steel toed boots, reflective vest or shirt or coat, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. They have a limited amount of visitor PPE but not boots.
